About SWJTU-Leeds Joint School:
SWJTU-Leeds Joint School (hereinafter referred to as the Joint School) approved by Ministry of Education, is a partnership between the University of Leeds in the UK, one of the Top 100 universities in the world, and Southwest Jiaotong University, one of the oldest universities in China.
Modules delivered in the Joint School consist of two parts: Leeds modules and SWJTU modules, and all Leeds modules are taught in English. Teaching activities in the Joint School take different forms, including lectures, seminars, workshops and so on.
About the position:
You may help with assessing students’ work, such as marking and giving feedback and supporting student learning whist students are engaged in practical classes. This will provide you with valuable experience to work with students and enhance your employability.

Qualifications:
1. The applicant shall be the non-directional non company-sponsored full-time doctoral candidate or academic staff in SWJTU.
2. The applicant shall have good English proficiency.
3. The applicant shall have a strong sense of responsibility and observe the rules and regulations in the Joint School and in SWJTU.
Responsibilities:
1. To undertake the answering, assessing, demonstrating, testing and practical activities related to undergraduate modules.
2. To participate in workshops and training organized by the Joint School.
3. To complete other tasks assigned by module teachers.

西南交通-利兹学院课程由利兹课程和交大课程组成，其中利兹课程采用全英文教学，教学形式灵活多样，包括理论课、研讨课实践课等。学院采用利兹大学培养方案，由西南交通大学教师、利兹大学教师以及两校共同全球招聘的教师联合执教。为发挥课程助教对本科教学的辅助作用，学院现面向全校公开招聘2018—2019学年课程助教：
一、聘任条件：
1.岗位申请人仅限于本校在读的非定向、非委培的全日制博士研究生、青年教师。
2.具有良好的英语写作与口语表达能力。
二、工作职责：
1.承担与本科课程相关的辅导答疑、批改作业、指导试验和实践环节等工作。
2.参加利兹学院组织的培训。
3.完成任课教师交给的其他任务。
