Ben Middleton has sixteen years of experience in international higher education, having taught at seven universities across three continents. He has worked with postgraduate, undergraduate, and foundation-level students and has designed and led modules in Academic Practice, Creative Writing, Public Speaking, and Ethical Practice. Most recently, Ben developed and delivered the core English module - English for Medical Science - for an elite medical degree programme jointly delivered by a UK university and its partner institution in Grenada. Beyond his university roles, he co designed, marketed, and recruited for a nationwide IELTS preparation programme implemented by Thailand’s largest language school, where he also trained the teaching team.
Ben was recently awarded Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and has since joined the Engineering department of the SWJTU–Leeds Joint School.
