The teaching seminar of Year One for the semester 1 of Academic Year 2024-2025 was held in X30519 on November 29. The seminar was chaired by Ms. Joanne Shiel, Programme Director of Year One.

Joanne Shiel first expressed her deep gratitude to all the teachers involved in the Year One teaching, emphasizing the important role of Year One teaching in the Joint School. She organized a group discussion among the participating teachers, aiming to identify the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges in the current Year One teaching. Teachers actively shared their teaching experiences and joined in discussions on several key topics, including the use of the Minerva teaching system and the role of teaching assistants and their support in the teaching process.
