On June 23, the first meeting of the SWJTU-Leeds Joint School Industrial Advisory Committee was held in X30519. Industrial expert representatives, programme deputy directors and secretaries and the Joint School’s management team attended the meeting chaired by Prof. Huang Tao, deputy dean of the Joint School.

Prof. Jin Zhongmin, dean of the Joint school, gave an overview of the Joint School and the seven deputy directors introduced respectively their programmes. The experts, in light of the actual needs from the industries, put forward a series of suggestions concerning curriculum improvement, practical skills training and industry-education collaboration, providing clear and concrete guidance for the Joint School.

The meeting concluded with Prof. Jin Zhongmin and Prof. Jiang Jiuwen presenting appointment certificates to the advisory committee members.
