The teaching seminar of Year One for the Semester 2 of Academic Year 2025-2026 was held in X30519 on April 23. The Seminar was chaired by Ms. Joanne Shiel, Programme Director of Year One.

Joanne Shiel expressed her gratitude to all teaching staff and emphasized the importance of Year One teaching in Joint School. She introduced the RF-Controlled Ocean Debris Collection Project and its recent trial, and lead breakout discussions focusing on AI’s impact on teaching and challenges from growing student enrolment and moving to the international campus.
