On April 25th, 2023, a teaching seminar for year one was held in the Joint School. Attendees included Deputy Dean Zhu Yan, Year One Director Joanne Shiel, Deputy Director Shen Yixin, module leaders Adriana Matamoros Veloza and Costas Loizou, as well as all Year One academic staff.

Joanne Shiel introduced the overall planning and goals of Year One Curriculum Redefined and explained its significance and changes. All the teachers shared their teaching experiences and suggestions in the following discussion.
